The Learning at ALP Leicester has recently been actively involved in fundraising efforts for The New Wycliffe Care Home Residents’ Christmas celebration. By organizing a raffle featuring handcrafted wooden items from their workshop, funds were collected to support this cause.
On Monday 18th December, both Learners and staff of ALP Leicester visited the care home, presenting the residents with a generous donation of £100, heartfelt cards, and a beautifully crafted wooden star made by the learners themselves.
The residents and staff at the care home expressed immense gratitude for the funds raised and acknowledged the dedication of the learners by gifting them with chocolates in return.
This heartwarming visit provided a special opportunity to reconnect with the residents, creating a lovely experience for all involved.
