As we reach the end of the Summer Term, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and partnership throughout another successful academic year. It has been a term filled with celebration, achievement, and memorable experiences, with our learners continuing to demonstrate confidence, creativity, resilience, and a commitment to our ‘A.R.R.R.T.T.’ school values.
This term has provided learners with a wide range of opportunities to develop their knowledge, confidence, and understanding of the world around them. This included visiting Leicester’s ‘Warning Zone’, an interactive safeguarding experience designed to help learners explore important real-life scenarios and develop awareness of how to keep themselves and others safe. Through engaging activities, learners had the opportunity to learn about a range of safety topics, including risks they may encounter in everyday life, while developing their confidence in making positive choices and seeking support when needed.
We are delighted to share that ALP Leicester has achieved the Beyond Bullying Gold Award, recognising our ongoing commitment to promoting kindness, respect, inclusion, and positive relationships throughout our school community. This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our learners and staff in creating an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected.
We were also proud to celebrate learner achievements during our ‘A.R.R.R.T.T’ and Leavers’ Assembly. During this assembly we presented awards recognising the individual strengths, progress, and successes of our learners. The assembly also provided an opportunity to celebrate and wish our leavers every success as they move on to the next stage of their journeys.
Finally, we would like to thank all parents and carers for your continued encouragement and support. Your partnership plays an important role in helping our learners thrive, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved this year.
We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable summer holiday, and we welcome everyone back for another exciting year at ALP Leicester.
