Jessica Forbes
Prior to my role as Assistant Headteacher at ALP Leicester I have worked in mainstream secondary schools. During this time I have honed my skills as a History teacher and in leadership. Alongside teaching I have always had a keen passion for pastoral and was a head of house followed by a head of year.
For me the learners come first. I believe that every learner can achieve, progress and be challenged to strive. Bringing my love of teaching and learning to ALP Leicester my aim for our learners is to give them the best springboard for success. Schools have a profound impact on a learner and I endeavour to ensure that all learners leave ALP Leicester feeling challenged, supported and able to reach their full potential. Any step towards success is a step in the right direction.
Outside of work, a lot of my time is spent finding new walks for my dog and I to explore. I also love the theatre both performing, from panto to musicals to comedies, and watching shows in the West End alongside local theatre.
